A brand built to get kids on the court.
How Automaton designed and built the Box and One Basketball website — a marketing platform that connects families with elite coaching programs and drives app downloads.

The Problem
Box and One Basketball offers real, in-person coaching programs that develop kids into better players. But without a strong digital presence, the brand couldn't communicate what makes their approach different — or convert interested families into paying clients.
The site needed to serve multiple audiences at once: parents signing up their kids, coaches looking to open their own Box and One location, investors and media, and users downloading the training app.
What We Built
Automaton led the design direction and handled 100% of the development and implementation. We structured the UX around four distinct user journeys, integrated video content, and built the site from the ground up on WordPress.
The design process was collaborative — Automaton proposed and guided the creative direction while the client contributed their own input to the final look. The technical execution was entirely ours, from first line of code to launch.
“Having someone manage the full picture — design, development, content, and coordination — made all the difference in getting this launched.”
The System Architecture
WordPress-based marketing site with video integration. Structured around four audience paths: Parents & Kids, Open Your Own Box and One, Investors & Media, and Download Training App. Designed and built by Automaton.
The Results
A live site that clearly communicates the Box and One brand and serves four distinct audiences — parents, franchise prospects, investors, and app users — each with their own path.
Automaton handled the full implementation. The design direction was proposed and guided by us, with the client contributing their own creative input along the way.
